Philosophy of Ministry

Establish Autonomous Churches

Our goal is to establish churches that establish churches.  Our goal is to win people to Christ and train them to win others.  We want to plant churches that will grow and plant other churches. (2 Timothy 2:2)

Evangelism

Our goal in evangelism is to meet a known need so that we can meet an unknown need (salvation).  We want to love our neighbors, and as we love them share God’s love with them.  Relationships are very important in building trust, and are very important in the evangelism process in Mexico.  The part of Mexico where we serve isn’t very open to the gospel, so relationships and meeting needs are very important.  Our most effective evangelistic tool has been our biblical counseling program.  (Matthew 5:14-16; 22:39-40)

Discipleship / Leadership Training

After a person comes to know Christ, we want to help them to grow in their relationship with Christ to maturity.(Colossians 1:28) This starts many times in counseling.  As they grow, we train them in evangelism, and help them get involved in doing the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-12) Our job as church planters is to work ourselves out of a job.  We currently have 3 men that we are training for leadership ministry as well as others who are getting involved in other ministries.
