Ministry News Dear Friends,
What a great time of year to celebrate our Savior’s resurrection! Our Savior is risen! This year, we get to celebrate Susan’s birthday on Easter! English classes are going well. We have about 30 people coming to those. Cooking and crafting classes are going well. It’s been great to develop relationships with the people. Some of them are open to spiritual things, while others are not. We also have two guitar classes with about 10 people coming. One family asked the teacher for private lessons. Instead of charging, he told them that he would give them for free, but that he wanted to do a Bible study with them, so he does a Bible study with them every week! On Fridays, we offer parenting and marriage classes which are Bible studies over those topics. We had pretty good turnouts for the parenting classes, but this past month, when we switched to marriage classes, the attendance dropped off. We also had good turnouts to the showings of Fireproof and Courageous. I was also able to get into the school one time. Please pray that God will open up doors to get in on a regular basis. In Februrary, we had a Valentine’s Banquet. We had 14 people from the community come. Last Saturday, we had a medical brigade. We had 2 doctors, 1 dentist, and 4 nurses come to give free medical care to the community. We had close to 50 people come. Everyone that came received literature about our ministry and a gospel tract. Some people indicated that they are interested in some of the classes that we are offering. Two women indicated that they want to come to the women’s Bible study, and one woman requested counseling which we started this week. The doctors, dentist, and nurses will be returning on April 20th as well. We are currently counseling several people. This is a great opportunity to share the gospel and help them grow. We’ll be sharing the gospel this next week with a few people. On Wednesdays, Susan is doing a women’s evangelistic Bible study. There are 3 women who have come and heard the gospel clearly.
