Ministry News Dear Friends,![]() Susan’s women’s Bible study is going very well. She has had 8 women attending every Wednesday. Most of the women have come to know Christ through the study or were already saved, but there is still one who comes who isn’t yet ready to make the decision. One of the ladies, “G,” who is coming to the Bible study and trusted in Christ several months ago, is really growing. She gives testimonies just about every week how God is working in her life. Her husband is currently not interested, and has a lot of stress from work, but he can see the positive changes in her life. Our weekly activities are growing. Each week, new people come to the different classes that we offer. For Children’s Day, we showed a movie, and we were expecting about 20-30 people. However, 79 people showed up! None of the parents could fit inside, so they all waited outside, which gave me an opportunity to speak with many of them. July is summer vacation from school, so we are going to be offering a month of kids’ activities. We will have a week of basketball, soccer, English, and VBS. Our goal is to get people who still don’t know about us to know about us, and to hopefully reach some of them with the gospel. We’ll have two college students from the U.S. and some Mexicans helping us with these activities. Ben Cole, one of the college students, is here now, and will be helping us for the next five weeks in the ministry. Next week, we’ll be having a “Thank you” dinner for those people who are helping us in the ministry. We’ll also be asking for a greater commitment to the ministry, especially in July. We are planning on starting a Sunday Bible study in August. It won’t be a Sunday service yet, but the plan is that it will turn into a Sunday service. Family News The kids are doing well. Nathan is walking and into everything. He especially loves the toilet. Josh, Caleb, Abby, and Aaron are doing well. They had a great time when we took our vacation to the beach in May. Susan is extremely busy as always. Between 5 kids, the house, and ministry, it is hard for her to find the time to get everything done. Bryan joined a soccer team, partly to get some needed exercise, and also to make some new contacts. A printable version can be downloaded here |
