Evangelistic Activity on Feb. 1st

Ministry News

Dear Friends,

It’s been a busy winter.
In January, we set goals for the year. One of the goals that the people set is that we grow to about 50 people, double our current size. It’s a big goal, but we have a big God.
To accomplish this goal, we will have to find a bigger place to rent. Our current house is too small for that many people.
We’ve had many visitors come to our special activities. This past month, we had 60 people come to a Sunday activity. In December, we had about 70. Not everyone can fit inside, so people have to sit outside and we leave the door open. We also send the kids to a bedroom upstairs to make more room. There were 30 kids in 1 small bedroom.
We’ve been teaching an evangelism class on Sundays. One family quickly learned the importance this. Their friend said she wanted them to give her a Bible study so they will be starting one with her soon. Others have shared testimonies of what they are doing to evangelize, and coming back with questions.
We’ve had several people wanting counseling recently. This week, two people who came for counseling trusted in Christ as their Savior. People are coming for help, and then recommend us to their friends and family. Our prayer is that these people will grow and become part of our church family.
We had an Euodia and Syntyche problem recently between two women in our church. We praise God for the opportunity to grow, and that they were able to work out their differences which were affecting the whole body.
Another thing that we are doing this year as a church is helping a Mexican couple who want to go to Indonesia as missionaries. The people decided that 20% of all of our offerings will go to help them go on a survey trip later this year.
Another goal is to get people more involved in serving in the ministry this year.

Family News

Matthew is growing quickly. He’ll be 3 months old soon. He’s a good baby.
Josh is going to an MK camp next week in Puebla. He is excited about that.
We are still adjusting to the craziness of being a family of eight.
